Données de la vie de l'oeuvre : The opening movement of the work, ..., was heard for the first time in the Jena city church , with the Jena "Academic Choir" under the direction of the author ..., whereas the whole psalm ..., had its first perfomances in Chemnitz on 23 February 1910 under the composer's direction and sung by thechurch choir of St. Luke's, and on the very same day in Breslau (Singing Academy under Georg Dohrn).
