O love, strength of the heart,
you fill each one
with a heavenly glow.
You make each man a brother
you give comfort to the poor
who are sighing with pain.

God only shows himself through you:
You fill those who are suffering
with the belief in what is good.
Set alight by your glow,
the soul spreads a heavenly brightness.

When the world hears your voice,
the din of war will be silenced;
Anger and pride will be conquered
by the holy band of eternal love
