Magnificat anima mea Dominum.
Et exsultavit spiritus meus
in Deo salutari meo.
Quia respexit humilitatem ancillae suae,
ecce enim ex hoc beatam me dicent
omnes generationes.
Quia fecit mihi magna qui potens est,
et sanctum nomen ejus.
Et misericordia ejus a progenie in progenies,
timentibus ejum.
Fecit potentiam, in brachio suo.
Dispersit superbos mente cordis sui.
Deposuit potentes de sede,
et exaltavit humiles.
Esurientes implevit bonis.
et divites dimisit inanes.
Suscepit Israel puerum suum,
recordatus misericordiae suae.
Sicut locutus est ad patres nostros.
Abraham et semini ejus in saecula.
Gloria patri, et filio, et spiritui sancto,
Sicut erat in principio et nunc et semper
et in saecula saeculorum.
Amen.
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
Because he has looked upon
the humiliation of his servant
from now onwards all generations
will call me blessed.
For the Almighty has done great things for me,
and Holy is his name.
His faithful love extends age after age
to those who fear him.
He has used the power of his arm
he has routed the arrogant of heart.
He has pulled down princes from their thrones
and raised high the lowly.
He has filled the starving with good things
and sent the rich away empty.
He has come to the help of Israel his servant
mindful of his faithful love.
According to the promise
he made to our ancestors
of his mercy to Abraham
and his descendants for ever.
Glory to the Father, and the Son,
and the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and forever
world without end.
Amen.
