O Thou from Whom All Goodness Flows |
Thomas Haweis, 1791
O Thou from whom all goodness flows, I lift my heart to Thee; In all my sorrows, conflicts, woes, Dear Lord, remember me.
2. When on my poor and burdened heart
3. When trials sore obstruct my way | 4. If for Thy sake upon my name Shame and reproach shall be, All hail reproach and welcome shame! Good Lord, remember me.
5. If worn with pain, disease, or grief
6. When in the solemn hour of death |
7. And when before Thy throne I stand And lift my soul to Thee, Then with the saints at Thy right hand, Dear Lord, remember me. |
